The summer Wyatt turned five
Week 10 My favorite boy turns five tomorrow. I think years from now, when we look back at this time, we'll remember it as the summer Wyatt turned five. In actuality, quarantine has taken place during the Spring season, but being home together like this has really felt like a slow summer. The kind that we'd savor in the good times. Restrictions are becoming noticeably looser. Schools are set to reopen next month (as in childcare centers and summer programs), businesses are able to open to some degree, the job market is picking up again, and you can feel the renewed energy in people. It's strange, though, because I find myself already missing this time together. Walker was furloughed in early May for 60 days - likely permanently - so it's been heavenly to have everyday feel like a weekend. A little grueling, too.
